Botox, Injectable Fillers and Facial Peels
Botox is Botulinum Toxin Type A
How does BOTOX work?
During treatement, very low doses of Botox Cosmetic are administrated via a few tiny injections directly into the muscles responsible for frown lines between the brows. By blocking the release of a chemical that causes these muscles to contract, Botox Cosmetic enables them to relax. The effects are very localized and, when administrated by an experienced physician, do not affect your ability to smile, laugh, or otherwise show expression. Botox Cosmetic is the only product of its kind that has been approved for use in this area.

Injectable Fillers - Although there are many injectable fillers (which we may consider for your facial rejuvenation) Juvederm is preferable choice. Juvederm has minimal side effects and duration 9 to 12 months.
Juvederm - as you age, your skin changes. It reduces production of a naturally hydrating substance called hyaluronic acid (HA). Over time, the loss of HA in your skin results in facial wrinkles and folds, like those "parentheses" lines around your mouth.
Juvederm injectable gel replaces the HA your skin has lost, bringing back its volume and smoothing away facial wrinkles and folds. A breakthrough in HA dermal fillers, JUVEDERM is the first smooth-consistency HA gel and the only HA filler that's FDA approved to last up to one year!
You can experience the benefits of JUVEDERM injectable gel in a quick, in office procedure. JUVEDERM is placed under your skin and it smooths out the wrinkles and folds on your face. You will see the difference immediately!

Facial Peels - chemical peels, regular dermabrasion and microdermabrasion.
Chemical peel is a treatment in which an acid solution is used to remove the damaged outer layers of the skin. Typically administered as a facial peel, a chemical peel enhances and smoothes the texture of the skin. It is an effective treatment for facial blemishes, wrinkles, and uneven skin pigmentation. Although there are many peels on the market, we are using glycolic acid peel and TCA peel because of minimal side effects and low cost.
TCA solution comes in various concentrations and reults are the same or better then laser treatement but much less expensive.
Regular dermabrasion is a cosmetic medical procedure in which the surface of the skin is removed by abrasion (sanding). It is used to remove sun-damaged skin, to remove or lessen scars and dark spots on the skin and to rejuvenate the skin. It is performed under general or light anesthesia.
Microdermabrasion is a less severe procedure then regular dermabrasion, cosmetic procedure in which the surface of the skin is removed by abrosion (sanding).
The procedure is not very painful and requires no anesthesia. Different methods include mechanical abrasion from jets of zinc oxide or aluminum oxide crystals, fine organic particles, or a roughened surface. Particles are removed with a wand/handpiece through which the abrasive particles come.
All procedures can be done in the office.
